Life and business lessons we can take from bees

by Vangus Magnus

Bees act in swarms and have

many valuable life and business

lessons we can have by

observing their behavior.

First of all, bees when searching

for a new nest, they send scouts

who share their findings with

others and the decision is

made only after the others

validate the information given.

This is a sign that indicates that

best decisions are made

when information is being

well communicated to the

members of the team,

combined with independent

critical thinking that every

individual should possess and apply.

Furthermore, moving from decision

to the actual implementation is

a big step that requires strong

initiative and here is where

the ultimate core trait of

a good leader lies:

courage and accountability make for

a good leader.

The right vision and the ability to

coordinate the team are

key leadership skills that follow closely. Leadership manifests

through a decision made.

As we can see, communication,

critical thinking and strong

solid leadership are “bee” behaviors

we could learn from and consequently

achieve success.
