The good the bad and the ugly

Who’s to decide, you can’t
but wonder. Me, me, me
you may just as well
not be able to resist but spew.
Spew? Really? That’s ugly!
Yes but not bad! This means
good, right? Or is it not?
Well, depending on the social
context, your personal preferences
not to mention the season,
the time and your mood,
it will be safer to reach
the moon some time sooner
than to conclude what’s bad,
good or ugly when it comes
to expression particularly
of the artistic genre.
Can a crime scene be a piece of art?

A buttered face? A dead body?
A starved child?
Can a battlefield be a masterpiece?
It seems that if you paint,
take photos or shoot a documentary,
for a example, yes, they can!
Ugly they may be and bad too
but still art they are
which tell a sad, dark story,
on occassion so beautifully and
sometimes they even make History!
And that’s good, you may think but do
you mean the art is good or what comes
with it which is the unavoidable
en-tropic effect that now you can not
unsee or unhear the very things
you were presented with?
Or is it bad because of the guilt you feel
by enjoying the terrible, by deriving
the thrill from the awfulness of the subject?
Anything that involves an intervention,
no matter which tools one uses
to capture the essence of and
the evolved expansion of it to make
a personal statement-no matter the
school of aesthetics, is art.
In other words, similarly to
Everything is Politics by Aristotle,
Everything can be Art.
There is no need to keep debating

what art is any longer.
The discussion, very often bordering
the realms of the ridiculous
of what is good, bad or ugly
has to come to an end at least
for this century. All these three states
are interchangeable and keep shifting
into an ever transformational, tidal,
increasingly global, cultural wave.
Let’s talk instead about the magnificent,
the authentic. Let’s try at least to
select peacefully what we’ll lock in the
space-capsule we are called
to send as Humanity to Uranus (?)
So, we can gain some more time
and manage to prosper on Earth.
So, we can get the full Pardon (?)
by the Universe!
An Atonement declaration (?) in
the aftermath of the all time Waste!
The Final Big Waste! (?)
Our consumption for BS absolutely!
Our corruption in all the public.
Our frustration in all the private.
